Study after study has shown that happy employees enjoy their work, are passionate about the company’s mission, more productive, and dedicated to exceeding client expectations and satisfaction. Our team makes us great and ensures our clients are raving fans! We focus on improving our employees' lives, and by being a great company to work for, we get to choose from the best people in the industry. Our clients enjoy working with our team because we focus all our efforts on making the building of their dream home both enjoyable and sustainable. We believe that by hiring the right people and running our organization using the Core Values listed below, we offer our clients, architects, trade partners, and our team an unrivaled building experience.

Our Core Values

Our philosophy is not just about building efficient, luxurious, and lower maintenance homes that are a much healthier place to live. "Building a Better Way" is how we run our company. We are focused on taking care of our clients, our subcontractors, and our employees. "Building a Better Way" is about running a company focused on making the world a better place and being an active participant in improving the lives of the craftsmen we work with and the homeowners we work for every day.

Our shared values are timeless. They create a sense of collective identity within our company. They define what we stand for, how we do things, and what we believe in.

We are Proudly a certified B-Corp

As part of our commitment to “Building a Better Way,” Earth Bound Homes is certified as a B-Corp, or a Public Benefit Corporation, by the B-Lab, the preeminent certifying company in the world.

B Lab’s definition of Local and Independent:

  • For the B Impact Assessment (BIA), "local" is defined as being part of the same community. While the size and distance of a community may vary by context, they should generally be based on a small-scale, economically and culturally connected area like a metropolitan area or in rural settings, the county, as well as its surrounding vicinities (usually within 50 miles / 80 km). The 50-mile / 80-km radius is intended to be a guideline to emphasize that the BIA is focused on “small-scale” communities.

  • Locally and independently owned definition: An independently owned company is free from outside control, meaning that it is privately held and is not a subsidiary of a larger entity. Locally owned means that a majority (over 50%) of the company's ownership is located locally to at least two-thirds of the company's workforce.
